By accessing or using Link Shrink ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By using our Service, you represent that you are at least 16 years of age.
Description of Service
Link Shrink provides URL shortening services that allow users to create shortened versions of long URLs. Our services include:
- URL shortening with custom short codes
- Click analytics and tracking
- Password protection for links (Pro and Premium tiers)
- Link expiration settings (Pro and Premium tiers)
- Custom domain support (Premium tier)
- QR code generation
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to shorten URLs that link to content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene
- Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
- Contains malware, viruses, or any harmful code
- Is involved in phishing, fraud, or deceptive practices
- Promotes violence, discrimination, or hate speech
- Contains adult content without proper age verification
- Violates any applicable laws or regulations
- Spams or sends unsolicited communications
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Shortened URLs that violate these terms may be disabled without notice.
Subscriptions and Payments
Subscription Tiers
We offer three subscription tiers: Free, Pro (€4.99/month), and Premium (€14.99/month). Each tier provides different features and limits as described on our pricing page.
Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period.
Refunds
We generally do not offer refunds for subscription payments. However, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Please contact support for assistance.
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Link Shrink and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain all rights to the URLs you shorten and the content they link to. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to process and redirect your URLs as necessary to provide the Service.
Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
In no event shall Link Shrink, its directors, employees, partners, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the Service
- Any unauthorized access to your data
- Any interruption or cessation of the Service
- Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the Service
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
